SCBA Batting Cage (Lionel Courchene Park - 99th Ave. & 154th St.)
Saturday February 13th 12:30 to 3:30 pm
Sunday February 14th 12:30 to 3:30 pm
Umpire Training Clinics (Mondays - Feb. 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd)
Players who wish to ump need to make sure they have Level 1 and/or Level 2 certification. If you are interested in becoming an umpire, please see all details in the
Umpire - Training section. There will be 4 courses in Level 1 and Level 2 each, every Monday starting February 1st.
Preseason Pub Night Fundraiser (Saturday Feb. 20th)
Let''s get into the baseball spirit on Saturday February 20th at 6pm at the Jolly Mac''s Pub (14815 108th Ave.). It''s a great night of fun, food, and a chance to see the old familiar faces again! Tickets are $15 each (payable by cheque preferably) which includes a beef or chicken burger, and a beer or wine. Contact an executive member, or e-mail Julie Love or Rob Masson if you are interested. Pub nights definitely put the "FUN" in Fundraising!
Coaching:
New information on coaching, as well as coaching applications are now in our coaching section. Please send in your applications as soon as you can, so we can be ready as early as possible. If you intend to coach a AA team, an application is required ASAP

New Juvenile Division
There is a new division for all players 18 to 24 years old, and we are looking for players & coaches! If you want to take part, please let the Player Development coach by emailing him at

SURREY CANADIANS WIN GOLD AT 2009 MOSQUITO AAA TIER II CHAMPIONSHIPS!!
Congratulations to the Surrey Canadians Mosquito AAA team for winning the gold medal in the final against the Cloverdale Spurs at the 2009 Mosquito AAA Tier II Provincial Championships right here at home in Lionel Courchene Park. And thanks for a job well done by the first-class volunteers who staged this year''s event. Your dedication to the kids, to Surrey Canadian and to the entire B.C. baseball community is an inspiration to all!
