2019 Registration

Registration for the 2019 season has now started. You can register online, or by mail or register in person. Please note there is a Fee Incentive for paying on or before Jan. 15, 2019 (see below). Player Registration must be paid prior to participation in off-season training programs in SCBA’s Indoor Batting Cage. THERE IS NO ACCESS TO THE BATTING CAGE UNTIL REGISTRATION FEES HAVE BEEN PAID IN FULL. Registration is available right up to Opening Day, unless divisions are full, then you may be placed on a Waiting List. Please register early to avoid disappointment. Proof of age will be required for all players.  We cannot guarantee placement on any one particular team. Make cheque or money order payable to S.C.B.A. A $25.00 charge on all NSF cheques will apply.
 
Registration guidelines are the same as last year:

  •     Division/Year of Birth is as of January 1st 2019.
  •     The registration fees, as shown below, are for the 1st and 2nd child. Registration for the 3rd or more child in the family is free. The rates are payable from oldest to youngest. Registration cheques can be the current date or post-dated to no later than February 15th, 2019.
  •     A concession/volunteer fee of $150.00 per family (post dated for May 31st, 2019), must also be submitted at time of registration. This fee will be refunded after your 4 hour volunteer shift has been completed. It is your responsibility to contact the parent coordinator to arrange your volunteer time and date. Registrations submitted without the concession/volunteer fee will not be processed.
  •     A uniform deposit fee, payable by a separate cheque for $100.00 per child, (post dated for June 15th, 20109), must be submitted prior to uniform issue (hat, socks, jersey and pants). This cheque will be shredded upon return of the jersey, pants and belt in clean and good condition at the end of season.
  •     A copy of the players birth certificate is required
  •     All Mosquito, Pee Wee, Bantam and Midget players must attend evaluations for the division draft in early March - times to be announced.
  •     We cannot guarantee spacing on any particular team.

Any existing player who introduces a new player (9U Tadpole & older) to our league is eligible for a $20 "finders fee".  Please have the new player write down the name of their friend at the top of their registration.  Applies to any new player provided they have not been enrolled in SCBA before.

TO REGISTER:

Register online or place completed Registration Form (1 per player), a copy of the players birth certificate, and all three cheques in sealed envelope marked with player’s name(s), as per the following options:

1. Online at https://www.surreycanadian.com/registration (send or drop off volunteer/uniform cheques via Option 2, 3 or 4);

2. Drop off during Registration Days: 10am-2pm on Jan. 12 & 13 in the batting cage (blue building in middle of all diamonds);

3. Drop off in SCBA mailbox in Batting Cage at Lionel Courchene Park during off-season training sessions (January to March); or

4. Mail to: Surrey Canadian Baseball Association #151, 10090 – 152nd Street, Box 308, Surrey, BC V3R 8X8

PLAYER DRAFT: Mosquito, Pee Wee, Bantam and Midget players will attend evaluations

Please note: Boston Pizza is not accepting 2019 registrations.
 
REFUND POLICY All refund requests must be submitted in writing to the SCBA registrar. A full refund less a $30.00 administration fee will be issued if received by the registrar prior to March 1st . 50% refund will be issued if received between March 2nd and April 15th less $30 administration fee. No refunds after April 15th . Please allow 30 days processing time.
