4 Week Program - 8 Sessions
Hitting: Tuesdays & Saturdays
Pitching: Thursdays & Sundays

Tuesday/Thursday Time Slots:
Mosquito: 6:30-7:30 pm
PeeWee: 7:30-8:30 pm
Bantam/Midget: 8:30-9:30 pm
 

Saturday/Sunday Time Slots:
Mosquito: 12-1:00 pm
PeeWee: 1-12 noon
Bantam/Midget: 2-3:00 pm

November 20th, 24th, 27th, December 1st, 4th, 8th, 11th, & 15th
November 22nd, 25th, 29th, December 2nd, 6th, 9th, 13th, 16th

Pitching Clinic Information:

Surrey Canadian Baseball Association is pleased to announce that former SCBA player and current Midget AAA coach, Tyler Lawson will be offering pitching clinics through four weeks, totaling 8 sessions. Please note these sessions are not for players who are not regular pitchers and will be a more advanced program. These pitchers can expect to learn proper pitching mechanics, proper arm care before and after throwing, pitching methods, increased velocity, and different techniques to increase pitching success. There will be guest instructors as well. For the 8 sessions, the cost will be $125. If you wish to register for this please email Tyler directly by November 10 at: tylerlawsonbaseball@gmail.com

Tyler is a former pitcher for the University of the Fraser Valley Cascades of the Canadian College Baseball Conference. He is now the head coach of the Midget AAA South Fraser Giants. Tyler’s experience includes being a member of Team BC at the Under 21 Canadian Nationals and has helped run clinics at the Yard Baseball Academy in Chilliwack for the past 3 years along with coaching and running other clinics at Surrey Canadian.

Hitting & Fielding Clinic Information:

Surrey Canadian Baseball Association is pleased to announce that members of the South Fraser Giants Midget AAA coaching staff will be offering hitting & fielding clinics. These clinics will run for four weeks, totaling 8 sessions. These three coaches all played baseball for the University of the Fraser Valley. Players can expect to learn proper situational hitting, hitting for power & contact, how to generate quicker bat speed, using your whole body, as well as proper footwork and fielding mechanics. Tyler Lawson is a former pitcher & first basemen for the University of the Fraser Valley Cascades of the Canadian College Baseball Conference. He is now the head coach of the Midget AAA South Fraser Giants. Tyler’s experience includes being a member of Team BC at the Under 21 Canadian Nationals and has helped run clinics at the Yard Baseball Academy in Chilliwack for the past 3 years along with coaching and running other clinics at Surrey Canadian.

Ryan Kaplanis is a former outfielder for the University of the Fraser Valley of the Canadian College Baseball Conference. He is now an assistant coach of the Midget AAA South Fraser Giants. He played his high school baseball with the Whalley Chiefs of the British Columbia Premier Baseball League (BCPBL). In his senior year, Ryan was named a BCPBL Second Team All Star as an Outfielder. He finished in the Top 10 in batting average and led his team hitting .370.

Mitch Brown is a former infielder for the University of the Fraser Valley of the Canadian College Baseball Conference. He is now an assistant coach of the Midget AAA South Fraser Giants. He played his high school baseball for the Aldergrove Dodgers where he was one of the league's top shortstops. He has spent the past two years running clinics at the Yard Baseball Academy in Chilliwack.
