Surrey Canadian and Newton Canadian are happy to announce that we will be partnering to select one Tadpole (U9) merged team for Summer Ball 2024. Tadpole (U9) is a competitive program that features live pitching in every inning.  The team will commence practicing in late June (after the Spring season is completed) and will play a short season schedule of games in July culminating in participation at Cloverdale's Andrew's Invitation Tournament on July 17-21.  

All players that participated in the Spring season of play are eligible to try out for this team.  Players must be available to play in the season ending tournament July 17-21 and should be committed to being on the field 3-5 times per week up until the tournament weekend.  The team may consider adding up to 3 players from other organizations (imports) that have had a BCMBA Tryout Player Release form approved.   Eligibility BCMBA Tryout Player Release Form (google.com)

Try Out #1 will be the scheduled game between Surrey and Newton Spring teams on Tuesday, June 4 at 6:00pm at Lionel Courchene Park.  No import players will be able to attend this try out.

Try Out #2 will be held Friday, June 7 at 6:00pm at Unwin Park.  This tryout is open to import players (see above).  

All interested players should email their division coordinator to indicate that they will be attending the try outs.
