  1. Playing Rules: Except as noted below, the standard rules of baseball apply - check Rule Books.
    1. All players in attendance will be placed on the batting order and will bat in turn, regardless of whether they field in the inning.
    2. Unlimited defensive substitutions are allowed.
    3. The batter runner must touch only the outside square (orange) of the safety bag at first base, if a play is being made on him. The fielder must touch only the inside square of the safety bag to effect an out.
    4. No LEAD OFF.
When a runner does leave their base before the pitch has crossed home plate, the offending runner(s) shall be called out, the ball is dead and no pitch shall be called.
    5. Ending play
      1. Once the catcher has possession of the ball in fair territory, any runner between 3rd base and home who stops advancing, must return to 3rd base and remain there until the next pitch has crossed home plate.
      2. Once the pitcher is in contact with the rubber with the ball in his possession, any runner who stops advancing, must return to the previous base and remain there until the next pitch has crossed home plate.
      3. If any opposing player chooses to throw the ball in an attempt to put the runner out, this rule is not in effect, and the runner may attempt to advance.
    6. On a dropped 3rd strike the batter is not permitted to run.
    7. No BALK BALLS shall be called against the pitcher.
    8. Maximum four runs may be scored per offensive inning, except in the last inning, which is open. Additional runs that score on the play in which the fourth run is made shall not be counted.
    9. Baserunners may not steal home on a pass ball by the catcher in the 1st inning, when the junior players pitch. This provides an opportunity for using inexperienced catchers.
    10. Note: Infield fly rule is in effect.
