BLE Super Clinic
The Super Clinic will include coaching instruction and NCCP Certification (in conjunction with Baseball BC) as well as player instruction. All aspects of INITIATION Coach, REGIONAL Coach and PROVINCIAL Coach levels, will be covered during the two days of the clinic. Please note: Coaches must have completed "REGIONAL" certification before registering for "PROVINCIAL" modules. Due to changes in Baseball B.C. this may be your only opportunity to get your "PROVINCIAL" certification.
There will not be many opportunities this year for certification modules/clinics, so the time is now!
If you are wondering about certification, and whether you need it or where you stand, you can look over the information at http://nccp.baseball.ca/
Thanks again, and hope to see you on the 22nd!
A new structure for the NCCP The NCCP is in the process of changing from its current structure with five levels (1 to 5) and three components (Theory, Technical, and Practical) to a new structure that is based on the three different environments in which coaching takes place in Canada.
The New NCCP Model The new NCCP model is made up of three streams and a total of eight contexts, each with its own coaching requirements. Each sport is responsible for identifying how many of the eight contexts are relevant to their sport. The table below shows which contexts have been identified for Baseball:
